The Aztema plant has manufactured its first tire in national territory, marking the beginning of its technical operation. This step represents the formal start of the calibration phase, with the goal of beginning mass production in the coming months.

Designed to manufacture semi-steel radial tires for passenger vehicles, the plant features advanced technology and automated processes. Once fully operational, Aztema projects an annual capacity of up to 6 million tires, allowing it to meet national demand and strengthen its presence in the international market.

Production began last Saturday, May 31, with the presence of representatives from the involved companies and the technical team responsible for the startup. This first phase is key to ensuring the quality and efficiency standards required by the global market.

Aztema is positioning itself as a new player in the tire industry with a clear focus: positioning Mexico as a strategic platform for production and export. In the medium term, the goal is to establish commercial relationships with automotive manufacturers, distributors, and international markets, thus strengthening the supply chain from the country.

The manufacture of this first tire not only symbolizes the beginning of an industrial operation: it represents a long-term commitment to technological development, local talent, and Mexico’s potential as a reliable and competitive manufacturing base.
